Primary Program

GIS offers a solid and integrated curriculum of Singapore and Khmer aiming at making learning relevant and meaningful to students. The child-centered study program enables students to become independent learners with their unique experiences, backgrounds, abilities and interests. Our teachers promote cross-cultural understanding, and differentiate instruction to meet students’ varying needs, abilities and learning styles. We provide a balanced education program within a safe, stimulating environment so that each child can learn and grow to their greatest potential.

At GIS, children are taught to express themselves as individuals while at the same time maintaining an awareness of their environment and the community they are a part of. Our curriculum has been developed by a variety of licensed childhood development experts and specifically designed to meet international academic standards while at the same time adapting to the unique cultural aspects of Cambodian society.

With challenging play and learning choices, children are given the opportunity to try out their problem-solving skills, investigate and work together as a team in order to accomplish daily learning tasks. Our curriculum focuses on reading, writing, phonics awareness, math, science, social studies, art, music, and physical fitness activities.

Our well-rounded curriculum offers opportunities for children to interact with one another and develop their emotional, linguistic and social skills. The child friendly environment is a place where children can develop to their full potential both socially and academically.
